About
I am a PhD Student at the Swiss Seismological Service at ETH Zurich, Switzerland.
I am working with Luis A. Dalguer (ETH Zurich) and collabarating closely with Jean-Paul Ampuero (Caltech, USA) and P. Martin Mai (KAUST, Saudi Arabia). Currently, my main interest are dynamic rupture modes and their transitions in elastic media and including off-fault damage from computational spectral element simulations.
Previously, my field of research was theoretical material science.
I was working on atomistic simulations of solid-phase epitaxial regrowth of amorphous germanium with Matthias Posselt at the Institute of Ion Beam Physics and Materials Research at the Helmholtz Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf.
